LoanExplorer Privacy
This policy describes the WealthProof LoanExplorer app published by Dezota LLC. WealthProof is a brand of Dezota. It applies to the app; use of dezota.com is also covered by the website privacy policy.
Your Loan Information
LoanExplorer calculates on your device. You can enter loan amounts, rates, payments, dates, currency choices, names, and optional notes. Saved loans and What If plans retain earlier versions so the app can preserve history and resolve competing edits. Unfinished work is stored separately as recovery drafts on the device.
The app has no advertising, tracking SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or connection to your lender. It does not ask for banking credentials, read financial accounts, or create a LoanExplorer account. Dezota does not receive your loan library through an app-operated server or provide a facility to browse your private loan records.
Private iCloud Synchronization
When iCloud access is available in a supported signed build, saved loans and What If plans synchronize by default through Apple’s CloudKit service in your private iCloud database. This includes saved names, notes, calculation inputs, retained revisions, and deletion/recovery information. It is synchronization across devices using the same Apple Account, not public sharing or collaboration.
Recovery drafts do not enter LoanExplorer’s CloudKit synchronization. Apple’s device backup services may separately handle app data according to your Apple settings. Network connectivity, iCloud availability, and Apple’s service policies affect synchronization.
You control LoanExplorer’s iCloud access in Apple’s Settings. Disabling access prevents that device from using the cloud library while access is unavailable; it does not itself erase previously stored iCloud data. The app retains account libraries separately to prevent mixing data between accounts. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s privacy information. We do not promise a particular end-to-end encryption configuration.
Siri and Shortcuts
Saved-loan access through Siri and Shortcuts is optional and off by default on each device. Enable Settings → Siri and Shortcuts → Allow Saved Loans to allow authenticated requests for saved base loans. What If plans and recovery drafts are excluded.
For a request, LoanExplorer resolves the loan name and returns the requested saved terms or modeled snapshot to Apple’s Siri/Shortcuts system. The actions are read-only. LoanExplorer does not index your saved loans in Spotlight or publish them as passive suggestions. Apple’s handling of Siri and Shortcuts requests follows your Apple settings and Apple’s policies.
Turning this option off prevents new saved-loan access and hides open results. It does not erase information already returned to Siri, Shortcuts, or another action you added to a shortcut.
Exports and External Links
Exports are created when you request them and saved to the destination you choose. A CSV or XLSX file may include a record name, financial inputs, schedule, comparison, and calculation assumptions. Notes and recovery drafts are excluded. If you choose iCloud Drive, another file service, a sharing destination, or another app, its policies apply to that copy.
Links to Help, Privacy, acknowledgments, or other websites open using the system’s browser behavior. Visiting those sites can produce normal web-server request logs under the site’s own privacy policy. LoanExplorer does not append your loan values or names to its Help or Privacy links.
Retention and Deletion
Saved records and their history remain until you delete them. Deleted loans and plans can normally be restored from Recently Deleted for up to 30 days. Delete Permanently removes their saved contents from the app’s recoverable record; a minimal deletion marker can remain to prevent an offline device from bringing the record back. Deletion changes synchronize when iCloud is available. Devices that remain offline may retain their earlier local state until they synchronize.
Deleting a base loan does not automatically delete its connected plans. They remain under Source Unavailable and may contain the historical base assumptions used for their comparisons. Delete those plans too if you want their saved contents removed. Permanently deleting a saved item also removes recovery drafts linked to that item in the affected library as the deletion is applied; independent drafts and other account libraries are separate. Exported files, backups, and answers already returned to Siri/Shortcuts are also separate and are not erased by deleting a record.
You can manage app storage and iCloud data through Apple’s settings. Removing app data can remove device-local recovery work, so save or export anything you intend to keep before doing so. Contact us if you need help understanding which copies remain. Dezota cannot recover or delete private loan records on your behalf through a company loan-data service.
Support Correspondence
If you email Dezota, we receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to send and use them to respond and investigate the issue. Send fictional examples or redact loan details where possible. Do not send Apple Account passwords or financial-account credentials. We retain support correspondence as needed to handle the request and associated business or legal obligations; contact us to request deletion where applicable. The app does not automatically upload your library or diagnostics when you contact support.
Apple may separately provide developer diagnostics or store statistics under its own services and your settings. Those services are distinct from an in-app tracking or analytics SDK. This policy and the App Store privacy answers must be reviewed if the app adds a new data service.
